# Nobody Is Coming to Putnam County to Do This for Us. Five days. Two to three hours each. Doors and phones at Gobin Church — and no experience necessary. *Sign up at the bottom of this page. ↓* --- ## There is no cavalry. There's no army of paid staff driving in from Indianapolis. No national organization has Putnam County on their list. Nobody is coming. The people who elect our candidates this year are the people who already live here. That's the whole plan. That's it. So we're asking you for five days. --- ## Here's exactly what happens when you show up. **1. Come to Gobin Church.** Pick one day or come to all five. Wear comfortable shoes either way. **2. Get assigned and trained.** Tell us on the form whether you'd rather knock doors or make calls — we'll do everything we can to put you where you want to be. Then you're trained on site. You will not be handed a clipboard and pointed at a neighborhood. **3. Work two to three hours.** Then go home knowing you did the thing that actually decides elections. --- **You get to tell us which one you want.** If you have no preference, say that too — we'll put you wherever the need is biggest that day. ### 🚪 Door Knocking **What to bring:** Comfortable walking shoes and your cell phone. That's it. **You will never knock alone.** Every single door knocker is paired with a partner — no exceptions. If you come by yourself, we'll pair you with someone. If you come with a friend or your spouse, you can walk together. **What to expect:** You'll be trained on site and given your route and instructions before you head out. **Experience required:** None. ### 📞 Phone Banking **What to bring:** At minimum, a phone and headphones. Ideally a phone, headphones, and a laptop or tablet so you can read the script from a screen. **What to expect:** Full training before you make a single call.
