Evening Volunteer at Headquarters

Macon Dems are in full election season and we need your help! We want to give our working voters access to headquarters and get all the information they need to vote this year! Headquarters will be open on Wednesdays in the evening from 5 -7:30 pm. There are lots of things to do and we need at least 2 people per shift. This is a very effective way to be involved, be social with like-minded people, and have some fun! Some of the things we'll may be working on include: registering voters, making phone calls, talking to visitors, helping folks understand the what's on the ballot & how to vote. We may be organizing flyers and information for canvassing, cleaning up after a meeting, or restocking our Free Little Food Pantry. We'll have a chance to meet candidates, take training, write postcards, or do filing. We'll be working on our educational booth for the Macon County Fair, taking care of our work space, and assembling yard signs. None of the work is difficult, but it's all critical to help us win on Election Day! It's also set up to build your own adventure. You get to choose what you like to do, use your talents and skills, and meet new people. We hope you'll register for as many shifts as possible. I promise you it's great therapy for the insanity we live in right now, and you will be part of the solution for flipping NC Blue. 💙 Watch for a separate link to sign up for day shifts.
