October Volunteer at Headquarters

We are one month away from Election Day and we need your help! Headquarters is open 5 days a week in October from 10 - 4, Monday thru Friday, and on Wednesdays in the evening from 5 -7:30 pm. There are lots of things to do and we need at least 2 people per shift. This is a very effective way to be involved, be social with like-minded people, and have some fun! Some of the things we'll may be working on throughout the day include: registering voters, making phone calls, talking to visitors, helping folks understand the what's on the ballot & how to vote. We may be organizing flyers and information for canvassing, setting up for a meeting, or restocking our Free Little Food Pantry. We'll have a chance to meet candidates, take training, write postcards, or do filing. We'll be working on our educational booth for the Macon County Fair, taking care of our work space, and assembling yard signs. None of the work is difficult, but it's all critical to help us win on Election Day! It's also set up to build your own adventure. You get to choose what you like to do, use your talents and skills, and meet new people. We hope you'll register for as many shifts as possible. I promise you it's great therapy for the insanity we live in right now, and you will be part of the solution for flipping NC Blue. 💙 Watch for a separate link to sign up for evening shifts.
