Cumberland County, NJ Bridge Brigade

This a local Down Jersey Coalition Indivisible event! Join us to spread our "Healthcare Not Warfare!" message along Cumberland County's busiest highway as Labor Day shore visitors go to and return from the shore. Participants will need to be able to walk about 1/4 mile to/from their cars helping carry lightweight signage to be displayed behind fencing on the overpass. Participants also need to be able to stand and hold signs up (they cannot be affixed to fencing) for the duration of the event. We hope to have enough participants to take turns holding signs, and will end early, if necessary. Look forward to a lot of supportive horn-honking from passersby!! *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action.
