It's time for Iowa's elected officials to get serious about addressing the water crisis and rising cancer rates. ***Join Food & Water Action on Thursday, September 10th, for a Secretary of Agriculture Candidate Forum!*** *This is a chance to hear from candidates about why they're running and what they'll do about Iowa's water pollution and cancer rates.* For decades, farmers have been disappearing from Iowa's landscape while agricultural production has soared. Family-run operations have been replaced by monopoly-controlled factory farms that pollute our land, poison our water, and devastate rural communities, with very little oversight. The Secretary of Agriculture has a key role to play in addressing these issues.
