Join the Tift County Democratic Party for an afternoon with Democratic candidates running for offices across Georgia and the 8th Congressional District! Come hear directly from the candidates about their campaigns, priorities, and vision for our state and community, and then help canvass voters in Tift County. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the candidates on the ballot, ask questions, and get involved ahead of the November election. Confirmed candidates include: - Kelly Esti: Candidate for U.S. Congress, GA-08 - Josh McLaurin: Candidate for Lieutenant Governor - Lydia Powell: Candidate for State School Superintendent - Nikki Porcher: Candidate for Labor Commissioner Whether you're already plugged into local Democratic politics or just want to learn more about the candidates, we'd love to see you there. Bring your questions, bring a friend, and come meet your Democratic candidates! Venue opens at 1:30, and an opportunity to knock doors with candidates and speak directly with Tift County voters will immediately follow the town hall. We are 50 days out from November's election and have a goal to knock 50K doors across the state as part of our Weekend of Action!!
