## The election is just around the corner, and local turnout will determine the outcome! Join It’s Up To Us for a Get Out the Vote (GOTV) door-to-door canvass in Lost Nation. We are talking directly to voters in our community to make sure they have a plan to cast their ballots before or on Election Day. Whether you're a seasoned canvasser or knocking on doors for the very first time, we’ll make sure you have everything you need to feel confident out on the turf! ## What to Expect: - Check-In & Training: We’ll kick off with a brief training on our canvass script and show you how to use the MiniVAN app on your phone. - Pairing Up: First-time canvassers can easily pair up with an experienced buddy. - Knocking Doors: We’ll head out in teams to talk to targeted voters, help them make a voting plan, and answer logistics questions. - Debrief: Return to the launch site to turn in materials and celebrate our outreach! ## What to Bring: - A fully charged smartphone (download the MiniVAN app in advance if possible) - Comfortable walking shoes - A water bottle - Weather-appropriate clothing ## Every conversation at the door brings us one step closer to victory.
