Block Party for Democracy — Cleveland Date: Saturday, September 19th Time: 1:00 – 5:00 PM Location: Euclid Beach Park, 16301 Lake Shore Boulevard, Cleveland, OH 44110 *** Park entrance is across from Collinwood Recreation Center *** Come celebrate civic life at a free, family-friendly block party ahead of the November election. Art, games, music, and food, all in one afternoon at the lake. -------------------------------------- Activities include: Dogs for Democracy -------------------- Decorate a bandana or sign for your pup The Democracy I Want Chalk Wall --------------------------------- Write your vision for the country, always a crowd favorite Flags of Change ---------------- Design your own mini flag which will become part of a larger flag Make & Take Yard Signs ------------------------ Color your own yard sign to bring home and share Rock-ing the Vote (new this year!) ---------------------------------- Paint a "Get Out the Vote" rock to hide for a stranger to find Flock to the Polls (new this year!) --------------------------------- Craft a little bird that carries voting resources wherever it lands next Learning Games ----------------- Play a variety of fun, interactive games for voting-age attendees, created by Democracy Lab.
