Four Rivers Indivisible - Sundays of Solidarity

JOIN US as we kick off our new Sundays of Solidarity Meetup Series! We will schedule and hold a two hour block (1:30-3:30 pm) EVERY OTHER SUNDAY IN PADUCAH for an action/activity-based meetup ... at the McCracken County Library or at a local business. The plan is to get together in person to socialize, support one another, and make plans for the future while taking small but meaningful action ... might be post-carding, text banking, contacting our electeds via email or writing scripts to call the next day, making posters and/or buttons ... whatever needs to be done and we feel like doing together! Bring Your Own Non-Alcoholic Beverages. OUR FIRST MEETING WILL BE SUNDAY, AUGUST 30th; 1:30-3:30 PM, in the Conference Room at the McCracken County Library. We will socialize and assemble hand-held fan posters to be carried through the parade and distributed as quantities allow. Further, we will discuss ideas and plans for future meetups. The second meeting will take place SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13th; 1:30-3:30 PM; Location in Paducah and action(s)/focus to be determined. The third meeting will take place SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 27th; 1:30-3:30 PM; Location in Paducah and action(s)/focus to be determined. If the first three meetups are successful and participants wish to continue to gather, we will continue to meet every other Sunday afternoon for the foreseeable future. We hope these meetups will be fun and productive. And we hope to see you there! A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action.
