OAK PARK, MI - Labor Day 2026: Workers Over Billionaires

On Labor Day 2026, stand with others in our community as we fight to protect what remains of our rights and demand what we’ve always deserved. After organizing 5,000 protests nationwide on May 1st, May Day Strong is mobilizing with a new wave of actions for Labor Day. From disenfranchising Black voters and rewriting maps in the South to federal agents raiding and killing our neighbors in the cities they’re occupying to shredding medicaid, SNAP, and social security, the billionaires are accelerating and escalating their agenda. While their billions grow, everyday Americans struggle to make ends meet. The Trump regime's agenda has forced the cost of living - groceries, gas, utilities - to sky rocket - because of a senseless war with Iran, forcing many Americans further into poverty. Billions feed the war machine while billionaires profit off of it. Meanwhile, education and healthcare suffer here at home. We cannot remain silent in the face of such corruption, greed and cruelty. It is time, once again, to stand up - to be seen, to be heard - on behalf of the working class. Bring your signs to reflect what you refuse to tolerate, what you object to in this system, and what you demand for a fair and just world. Let’s come together once again as a community to make our voices impossible to ignore.
