The only thing more powerful than hate is love! All are welcome to join us on the morning of Saturday, September 26th to (safely) stand on the 605 overpass and hold solidarity signs supporting our community and encouraging honks/support from drivers below. Our message will be of love and promotion of the Whittier Pride Festival, happening later that day. Location: The bridge on Obregon Street, Whittier, CA, over I-605 running south from the I-5 junction. This a local Indivisible event! *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
