About this event
This a local Indivisible event! Workers deserve more than simply enough to survive. They deserve the opportunity to build secure lives, support their families, own homes, enjoy time with the people they love, and benefit from the prosperity they help create. This is not a call to divide people against one another. This is a peaceful gathering to recognize the dignity and power of work. A healthy economy should not measure success only by how much wealth can accumulate at the top. It should also ask whether the people doing the work are able to share in the progress they make possible. The future can be different. When workers have a stronger voice, fair wages, meaningful benefits, opportunities to advance, and a genuine share in the success of the organizations they build, everyone can benefit. The greatest resource any society has is not a billionaire’s bank account. Rather it is the knowledge, effort, imagination, and determination of its people. Workers create value every day. They deserve to share in the future they create. Instructions and Disclaimer: This is a non-partisan weekend of action.
