About this event
Protect the Vote: Straight Talk from the ACLU of Massachusetts and Common Cause. If they’re working this hard to make you doubt your vote, it’s because your vote is powerful. Early voting opens Saturday, October 17, and Election Day is November 3. By the time we meet, the final stretch will be underway. Join us for an evening of straight talk, real answers, and a plan for the last two weeks. Olivia Santoro, ACLU of Massachusetts, will cut through the chaos on ICE at the polls, poll monitoring, mail ballots, and the latest from the courts. Geoff Foster, Common Cause Massachusetts, makes the case for Yes on 4, Election Day Registration, so every eligible vote counts. He’ll have lawn signs to take home. Dave Herlihy brings music for the movement to open and close the night. Also on the program: a brief Candidate Spotlight with Tamisha Civil, Governor’s Councillor for the 2nd District, hosted by Resistance Rising. You’ll leave knowing what to watch for, how to help, and what to tell your group. Come solo, bring a friend, or bring your whole crew. Everyone is welcome. Free and in person only. Join us in the room!
