Liberated Bodies: Lugenia Burns Hope Tour

Before there were programs or policies, there were neighbors showing up for one another. That legacy lives on today. Join Color Of Change at the Liberated Bodies: Lugenia Burns Hope Tour at Florida A&M for a day centered on community, wellness, and collective care. Inspired by the life and legacy of Lugenia Burns Hope, this tour celebrates the ways Black communities have always cared for one another while connecting us with the people, organizations, and resources that continue that work today. Whether you're looking for trusted health resources, meaningful conversations, ways to get involved, or simply a space to connect with your community, you'll find it here. You'll have the chance to meet local organizations providing health, wellness, and community resources, and learn more about reproductive justice, bodily autonomy, and caring for ourselves and one another. The event will also offer space to explore mental health, healing, and survivor support resources, while connecting with Jackson State University students, community leaders, and local organizers. Location: Florida A&M Date: Oct 24 Time: 10-3pm Bring a friend. Bring your family. Leave with new connections, trusted resources, and more ways to stay engaged. Because when our communities have what they need to thrive, we all move forward together. We hope to see you there.
