Chesapeake, VA Labor Day 2026: Workers Over Billionaires Home Depot & Lowe's Rally

On Labor Day, 2026, join with us as a community as we continue to defend the rights of workers, and demand the care we deserve as the backbone of our economy!! We will be hosting a rally at the intersection of Tintern St & Volvo Pkwy, where Home Depot, and Lowe's meet! On this day we will advocate for the rights of workers, and families struggling in our brutal economic climate. For the event... We encourage you to bring signs, flags, or any other form of message bearing. Your messages could revolve around workers rights as a whole, or/and, specific worker communities such as the immigrant, and disabled communities, whom are heavily, and frequently exploited. Furthermore... This event will be hosted from 1:00pm-3:00pm, so if you're unable to stay the entire period that's perfectly understandable! We chose this two hour time frame to allow people to come, and go as they need, even if we would prefer more people to linger for the full period, it's perfectly understandable if you don't. And lastly... we would greatly appreciate if you would like to bring water bottles, snacks, and even your own music players to the event! We would love if this event can really showcase what a community can do when we're united, and supporting each other!
