Votefest

VOTEFEST turns voting and civic engagement into something public, joyful and shared. Live music, visual art, conversation and opportunities to get involved come together in a celebration of voting, community and collective action. Throughout the afternoon, people can register to vote, make a voting plan, learn about resources for seniors and voters with disabilities, and get help navigating the voting process. They can also meet organizations protecting voters, immigrants and civil liberties, talk directly with organizers, voting-rights advocates and attorneys, and sign up for canvassing, poll monitoring, election protection and other concrete work leading into the 2026 election. VOTEFEST is an evolving model that learns from the people who participate in it. Every gathering brings new ideas, new partnerships and new ways of doing the work. As it takes root in more communities, each VOTEFEST grows in its own way while carrying forward the same mix of celebration, connection and action.
