Portage County Public School Funding Town Hall

Tuesday, September 29, 2026 · 6:00 PM EDT
6589 N Chestnut St, Ravenna, OH 44266
🎓education
Join other Portage County parents, caregivers, educators, and community members at Ravenna High School for a town hall on school funding. Together, we will learn about how school funding works in Ohio, how state and federal disinvestment in public education is impacting local public school districts in Portage County right now, and what we can do moving forward to make our voices heard on this critical topic. The town hall will include a panel of policy experts, local Portage County school district leaders, and key stakeholders, with the opportunity for the audience to ask questions. Pizza and childcare will be provided. To take advantage of on-site childcare, you must indicate how many children you will be bringing, as well as their names and ages, when you RSVP. You can submit questions for our panel via this form: https://forms.gle/x9Ka8p58MXu9h4L66
