We are planning to take our ideals to the streets ... in the Western Kentucky Labor Day Parade! The parade will take place on Monday, September 7th, in the morning. Line up begins at 8:30 am CDT. The parade start time is 9:30 am CDT. Four Rivers Indivisible will march and/or ride in the parade again this year. Our theme will be, once again, simply #WorkersOverBillionaires. We are taking this action purely in support of workers, and we will limit our messaging to that. We will supply hand held signs/fans and posters and small American flags for participants to carry. Signs/posters brought by participants will require approval by FRI leadership on site before they may be included in the event. And ... we will be handing out candy to the parade spectators, of course! We encourage you to bring a bag or two of your favorite individually wrapped candies for that purpose. This is a family-friendly event. Bring your friends AND your family! (Children must have a supervising adult with them.) The parade, which has a theme of "RED, WHITE, & BLUE! BUILT BY YOU - PADUCAH UNIONS," begins at 13th and Broadway and continues down Broadway to 2nd Street. Afterward, there is a Labor Day celebration at the Farmer's Market downtown, including a car show, live music, food trucks and inflatables. We will need enough people to walk to have one at each vehicle axle and let people take breaks walking vs riding, so please sign up and come out to help us step up and speak up in support of our Labor partners. Our group's MEETUP location will most likely be with the other political entries in the parking lot at 1515 Broadway. Please NOTE you will not be able to drive on Broadway, but will access this parking lot from its 16th Street side entrance. You will turn onto 16th Street from Jefferson Street. Last year, several of us were able to park across Broadway in the Paducah Power lot, over in the corner, out of the way of staging activity near the main road. PLEASE WATCH YOUR EMAIL before the ev
