Brady's Secure Storage Working Group SPECIAL EDITION in partnership with Grandmothers for Gun Responsibility. September 10th! In honor of Grandparents’ Day, join Brady’s End Family Fire program, Grandmothers for Gun Responsibility, the Alzheimer’s Association, and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) for a powerful discussion about the life-saving importance of secure firearm storage and protecting loved ones experiencing cognitive decline. 🔸 Thursday, September 10, 2026 – 7 p.m. ET Grandparents are often caregivers, mentors, and protectors of our families. But when a grandparent experiences cognitive decline while having access to a firearm, the risk of unintentional shootings and firearm suicide increases significantly. Surveys show up to 60% of dementia patients have firearms at home, and about half are stored loaded. Our webinar will explore how ensuring secure firearm storage at home can protect our aging loved ones and those around them while preserving their dignity and independence. 🔸 Register now to save your spot and be part of the conversation on firearm safety. Information to join the Zoom will be sent to your email upon registration.
