About this event
Jump Jam is back on Saturday, on November 7th (rain date from October 10th), and we'd love to have you on the team! Hosted at the Subaru of Spartanburg Bike Park, Jump Jam is PAL's annual bike park fundraiser featuring kids' bike races, amateur and professional dirt jump competitions, food trucks, vendors, and family activities. Every dollar raised helps support the maintenance and improvement of the bike park while introducing more children and families to cycling and outdoor recreation. It takes an incredible team of volunteers to make the day possible! Whether you're helping set up before the event, checking in kids for the races, assisting along the course, or helping us pack everything up at the end of the day, your time makes a real difference. Three volunteer shifts are available throughout the day, and every volunteer will receive a PAL T-shirt. No previous experience is necessary - just bring comfortable clothes, closed-toe shoes, and a willingness to jump in and help! Shift Descriptions: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM | Set Up Help transform the bike park for Jump Jam! Volunteers will assist with setting up tents, tables, banners, signs, inflatables, race course signage, vendor areas, and other event equipment before participants arrive. 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM | Kids Ride & Check-In Help make the Kids Ride a success by checking in participants, distributing race T-shirts, lining kids up by age group, holding age group signs, directing riders along the course, and handing out finisher medals. 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM | Crowd Voting & Breakdown Walk through the crowd with QR codes so attendees can vote for the Best Style competition, then stay after the awards ceremony to help the PAL team break down the event, pack equipment, and clean up the park. Thank you for helping PAL create another unforgettable Jump Jam. We couldn't do it without you!
