About this event
A casual, come-as-you-are gathering for humanists, the humanist-curious, and anyone who enjoys good conversation over a drink or a meal. No agenda, no program — just an easy evening to meet people in your community who share a commitment to reason, compassion, and living ethically without reliance on the supernatural. ## What to expect
Show up, grab a seat, and talk about whatever's on your mind — current events, books, life, the big questions and the small ones. Group members will be there to welcome you, introduce you around, and answer questions about Columbia Atheists, the American Humanist Association and/or American Atheists if you have them. ## First time? You're especially welcome.
A lot of people find Humanist Happy Hour an easier first step than a lecture or formal meeting. You don't need to identify as a humanist (or anything in particular) to come — just bring curiosity and an open mind. ### About drinks
Alcohol is optional and never expected. The venue has non-alcoholic options and food, so come however you come. This invitation was setup by Columbia Atheists with assistance from our partners at the American Humanist Association.
