Door-to-Door Canvassing in Columbia Heights

Join the Aparna for DC campaign for door-to-door canvassing in the Columbia Heights neighborhoods! Sign up on this page for the exact meetup location, and please provide your phone number (we'll use that to communicate any day-of logistical changes). There will be two canvass shifts. The first shift will run from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, and the second shift will run from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The metup location for both shifts will be the same. We'll start with a brief campaign orientation and canvassing training at the meetup location. After that, we'll head out to talk with voters about our vision for a DC and a Ward 1 for all. Everyone will then head over to a local park or restaurant to debrief. If this is your first time canvassing, don't worry. There will be plenty of fellow supporters there who will be happy to share tips and tricks about canvassing your neighbors. We hope you can make it! We'll have water and campaign literature on hand but recommend bringing a small bag (totes work great), a granola bar or other light snack, and a portable charger.
