A Day of ACTION

Burnet County Democratic Party: Action Day • BCDP Action Day is Sept. 5, 8:00 AM–2:00 PM, focused on Get Out The Vote efforts through canvassing, voter registration, voter education, volunteer recruitment, and distribution of campaign materials. • Volunteers will use Minivan, with captains paired with novice canvassers and voter targets ranging from faithful Democrats to low-propensity and swing voters. • The schedule begins with setup at 8:00 AM, team assignments and turf orientation at 8:30, Minivan/script/safety review at 9:00, and canvassing launch at 9:30. • Base camp at Johnson Park will support hydration, rest, voter registration, yard signs, literature, VDR packs, and follow-up instructions for registered volunteers.
