About this event
While the media and politicians push division and "otherness" onto immigrants and young people, we know that all of us have more in common than we do different. Our experiences are deeply interconnected and stories are how we honor that. Stories shape how we think, how we feel, and we help others truly understand one another. **Come join UWD and UWDA on Thursday, November 10th to ground us on our experiences and get trained on how to be a Storyteller!** Here’s what you’ll get out of the training: - 📚Understand _why_ we tell stories and the power your story carries. - 💬 How to tell your story: Best practices for writing your own story and sharing it with others - 🫂 Join a community rooted in a shared belief that we all deserve a better future Together, we the people, regardless of our backgrounds, are building a future where all working, immigrant, and young people have what we need to thrive. **Your story matters - come & learn how to tell it!**
