Mike Mondays: Freedom Without Fear!

No community should have to live in fear of being separated, detained, targeted, or treated as disposable. Join residents in Spring Valley for a community rally examining Congressman Mike Lawler’s record on immigration enforcement, detention, incarceration, and federal policies disproportionately affecting immigrants and communities of color. We’ll hear from community members, discuss how enforcement policies affect families throughout the Hudson Valley, and challenge political rhetoric and policies that have used immigrants and marginalized communities as political targets to advance the MAGA agenda. This rally is about immigration but it is also about something larger: what kind of country we want to be and how much power the government should have to detain, incarcerate, separate, and surveil people. The Hudson Valley is powerful because of the people who call it home. Come stand together, learn your rights, know the record, and build the community power necessary to defend one another!
