About this event
When one door closes, another opens. That's the spirit we're carrying with us as we wind down our House District 42 work and meet the 8-year term limits established in our State Constitution for the Florida Legislature. Serving in the State House since 2018 has been the honor of a lifetime — leading with grit and grace, representing our community in the Florida House, and solving the everyday problems our neighbors and constituents face. We navigated a global pandemic. We showed up for countless special sessions. We passed good bills and stopped bad ones. We helped families avoid eviction and foreclosure, hosted supply drive after supply drive, trained hundreds of interns, and answered thousands of requests for meetings and help, always making sure our constituents had what they needed to reach their fullest potential, spending my own personal funds to help those in need. Together, we proved that everyday Floridians can expect more from their government. We took what many dismiss as a part-time job in the lower chamber and turned it into a platform of national importance with major local impact. Now it's time to say goodbye to the home we've built over the past eight years. Join us for the one and only Office Goodbye Party: last call for our office, and a chance to celebrate how far we've come and dream about what's next. Expect a coffee cart, light bites, live music, and a program at around 2:15pm. Kids are invited, too! WHAT: Office Goodbye Party WHERE: 1507 E. Concord Street, Orlando, FL 32803 WHEN: Sunday, September 27th TIME: 1:00-4:00pm OTHER INFO: Please dress comfortably, as this will be an indoor and outdoor gathering
