Data Centers: You Have Questions, We Have Answers

Data centers are a hot topic of conversation all over America and right here in our own backyard, the governor has issued a one-year moratorium on data center development. The Town of Guilderland will have a public hearing on a potential data center moratorium on September 15th. But what *is* a data center anyway and why are communities blocking them? Come learn about data centers, and get answers to your questions -- like, can we live without data centers? and what is the actual environmental impact of a data center? The goal of this meeting is to clear up confusion, learn why there is concern, and be well-informed for the public hearing. At this meeting, we will also be collecting school supplies for refugee children in our area.
