PXP at HCC West Loop Campus Voter Registration - INDOOR

Sign up here to join us in registering eligible **HCC West Loop Campus** students to vote! ### Event Schedule * **10:45 AM:** Arrive on campus * **110:45 AM– 11:00AM:** Set up table and giveaways * **11:00 AM – 1:00 PM:** Register eligible HCC West Loop students to vote * **1:00 – 1:20 PM:** Volunteer debrief and breakdown of setup ### Volunteer Requirements To register voters at this event, you **must** be a certified **Volunteer Deputy Voter Registrar (VDVR)** in **Harris County** (bonus points if you're also certified in surrounding counties). Please make sure your certification is current before the event. ### How to Prepare **STEP 1:** If this is your first time registering voters with Powered by People, sign up for the mandatory Zoom training here: https://www.mobilize.us/poweredxpeople/event/908390/ **STEP 2:** Before your shift, download the **Reach** app and review the Reach User Guide: bit.ly/3JmCpca We will be using Reach alongside voter registration throughout the event. Completing both steps before your shift is **required**. ### Join the Powered by People Campaign in Reach 1. Open the Reach app. 2. On the Home Screen, tap the name of the group you're currently in. 3. At the bottom of the pop-up window, select **"Browse Campaign Directory."** 4. Search for **"Powered by People."** 5. Tap the blue **"Join"** button. Sign up today and help register eligible **HCC West Loop Campus** students to vote!
