Voter Education: Letter Writing in Bethesda!

Voting Rights are under attack! One of the most important tools we have to withstand these attacks is education. Voters need to know how they can be prepared to cast their ballots. We’re going to come together to write letters to voters in states that have new and/or highly restrictive rules about who will be allowed to vote. The pre-printed letters, different for each targeted state, will have very detailed and specific information about these rules to alert voters so that they can be prepared and ready to vote in the upcoming elections. Our job will be to write one or two personal sentences of support and encouragement on each letter. Please join us for a fun gathering with a crucially important purpose! *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
