CAMP DEMOCRACY: ALL SOULS EDITION Saturday, September 19th, 9:00 – 12:30 All Souls Church Unitarian in D.C. Whether you’ve been working for years to protect democracy or are just beginning to reflect on the stakes after the Supreme Court decision to gut the 1965 Voting Rights Act, we invite you to gather with us at Camp Democracy. You will learn from seasoned community organizers who know what it takes to bend the arc of history toward justice and gain the tactical skills needed to stand firmly and courageously on the side of love. Camp Democracy will also be a chance to restore your spirit, deepen your connections, and form new relationships with people who share your values and your hope for a more just future. Together, we can strengthen one another for the work ahead. Camp Democracy: All Souls Edition will include break-out sessions, gathering times and activities for all ages. We are excited to welcome youth -– high-school students may participate on their own, middle-school students are welcome to attend with an adult, and special activities will be provided for children ages 4 to 11. Break-out sessions will cover topics like **Voting Rights Under Fire: What You Need to Know as Voters and Democracy Defenders **All You Need is Your Phone: Phonebanking & Textbanking 101 **Getting Comfortable with Canvassing Please come join us for Camp Democracy: All Souls Edition on Saturday, September 19th from 9:00 – 12:30 at All Souls Church Unitarian in DC. *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
