It's time for Vancouver Audubon's 3rd annual Migratory Bird Celebration! Every year tens of millions of birds migrate through Southwest Washington travelling thousands of miles as they make their way from their wintering grounds to nesting grounds and back again. You are invited to join us as we celebrate these remarkable birds and their journey. In partnership with the City of Vancouver's Water Resources Education Center this event is a great opportunity to learn about the conservation needs that support bird migration: clean and available water sources, native plants, insects, and habitats. When: Saturday, September 19, 2026 | 10am - 1pm Where: Water Resources Education Center, 4600 SE Columbia Way, Vancouver, WA Join us for these activities and more! - Take part in the Migration Game where you are a bird facing obstacles trying to reach your destination - Search your surroundings and find the 23 things that complete your Nature Bingo card - Explore the habitats of Marine Park on one of several guided Bird Outings - Beginner binocular workshops - Help build nest boxes - Meet the members of our Youth Programs such as Young Birders, Cameraderie, and our annual Youth Photo Contest This is a free and family-friendly event. All ages are welcome. No registration necessary. We hope to see you there!
