Honesty Huddle (Monthly Organizing Meeting)

Join Honesty organizers and grassroots education leaders from districts all across Ohio for our next monthly organizing meeting on Oct. 6 at 7 p.m.! This meeting is for both new and veteran education advocates—new advocates will get the same new information but also go through a brief orientation to get caught up with the veterans. In no more than one hour we will get everyone updated on: - Unaccountable private school vouchers and how you can make a difference this fall - Organizing in Rural Districts and our rural listening campaign - Organizing in the K-12 LGTBQ+ community and our LGBTQ+ listening campaign - How school board members can connect with our School Board Alliance - How Honesty is bringing together retired teachers to build power and how you can plug in We'll also have a discussion and ask everyone to share what they think is the biggest issue facing their local district in this new school year. RSVP and spread the word to other advocates in your district and across the state!
