PXP at Little Elm Autumn Fest & Hispanic Heritage Day

Powered by People will be at Little Elm Autumn Fest & Hispanic Heritage Month, and we need volunteers to help us meet people where they already are. Little Elm Autumn Fest is one of North Texas' premier fall celebrations, bringing together thousands of families for four days of live music, carnival rides, great food, local vendors, and community fun. On Sunday, the festival also celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with cultural performances, music, and family-friendly activities. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet people from Little Elm, Frisco, The Colony, Aubrey, Denton, and surrounding communities, help eligible Texans check or update their voter registration, sign up for election reminders through REACH, and connect with future volunteer opportunities. Volunteers will help with: Greeting attendees Inviting people to check their voter registration Helping supporters join REACH Connecting community members with Powered by People volunteer opportunities Supporting Volunteer Deputy Registrars (VDRs) as they help eligible Texans register or update their voter registration No prior experience is necessary. Whether this is your first event or you've volunteered with us before, we'll make sure everyone has a clear role and feels comfortable before we get started. If you are a certified Volunteer Deputy Registrar (VDR), please bring your VDR certificate or VDR number and let us know which Texas counties you're certified to serve. If you're not a VDR, we still need you! Some of the most important roles at events like this include greeting attendees, helping with REACH, and keeping conversations flowing. Please plan to arrive a little early so we can get everyone checked in, review volunteer roles, and be ready before the crowds begin arriving. Arriving early helps us maximize our outreach and ensures we're ready to welcome attendees as soon as the event begins.
