Fall Tree Protection Prep

Join Tree Pittsburgh and the Tree Adoption Team to help create tree protection for trees adopted out from our Heritage Nursery! We adopt trees out across Allegheny County to increase tree canopy in communities that need it the most. These young trees need to be protected from wildlife as they get established. Together, we will cut plastic mesh and weed-blocking paper to get these new trees set up for success! Register now to stay in the loop about event details. **New to volunteering with Tree Pittsburgh? All new volunteers must [complete this form](https://action.treepittsburgh.org/a/volunteer-agreement-form) before their first event with us.** This volunteer opportunity is appropriate for volunteers 12 & up. All volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event. Please reach out to volunteer@treepittsburgh.org with any questions! Volunteer Events are held rain or shine, but events will be cancelled for extreme weather. Review Tree Pittsburgh's [Volunteer Event Weather Policy](https://www.treepittsburgh.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Tree-Pgh-Volunteer-Event-Weather-Policy.pdf) here and reach out with any questions!
