From the organizer: LN4D gathers in Lyons every Saturday, 3d and Main (Highway 36/66, triangle area), from noon to 1pm. (Longer for 50501/Indivisible/Move On national Call to Action days.) Rise up. Show up. Stand up. Speak up. Stronger together! Resistance is not futile! ………………………………………… LN4D is committed to peaceful, enthusiastic gatherings which encourage, empower us in solidarity and community, give us a voice; inform and inspire passersby. We welcome you to join us. Bring your smile, hope and a friend. Also bring: signs with your favorite message; water, snacks. Dress for weather. Seating is very limited- folding chair if needed. LN4Democracy is an independent group begun in February, 2025. We are committed to peaceful, ‘active opposition’ to the autocratic/oligarchic/tyrannical direction and policies of the current administration. We are in passionate, patriotic support of our country, Constitution, civil rights, the rule of law and our hard-won Democracy. For ourselves and our future. We value peace, dignity, respect, good relations with our fellow citizens, neighboring countries, Mother Nature and the world.
