About this event
Broward County Transit (BCT) will hold a public meeting for the Oakland Park Boulevard Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study. The public meetings will be held in-person and virtually on three separate dates. The same information will be presented at all meetings, in-person and virtual, so attending all is not necessary. This study seeks to identify the best means to implement premium Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) service along approximately 15 miles of Oakland Park Boulevard from Sawgrass Mills to Ocean Boulevard. This project is proposed as the first PREMO (Premium Mobility) Plan service, made possible by funding from Broward County’s transportation surtax. Attendees will be able to review project displays and findings of technical analyses conducted, speak with project team members, ask questions, and provide comments. Those who want to attend the virtual meeting can access registration information at https://www.broward.org/bct/OaklandBRT. A copy of the agenda may be obtained by contacting: Tara Blakey; OPBBRT@broward.org; (954) 357-8400; Broward County Transit, 1 North University Drive-Suite 3100A, Plantation, Florida 33324
