The FWC is seeking public comment regarding a proposed amendment to the 10-year Management Plan for the FWC-managed portions of the John C. and Mariana Jones–Hungryland WEA. This amendment proposes removing the 263-acre Lemon Grove tract from Lease 4480 so it can be transferred to another state agency. This hearing is being held EXCLUSIVELY for discussion of the DRAFT John C. and Mariana Jones–Hungryland WEA Management Plan Amendment. This meeting will not address area hunting or fishing regulations.
