The South Florida Water Management District announces a public hearing regarding its annual tentative ad valorem millage rates, non ad valorem tax rolls and tentative budget. The public and stakeholders will have an opportunity to view and comment on the public hearing by attending in person or utilizing the following link: https://sfwmd.link/47NElUW. The link will go live at approximately 5:15 PM on September 10, 2026. District staff will be available to provide technical assistance. The Governing Board will receive and consider public comment and vote separately on the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 tentative ad valorem millage rates, non ad valorem tax rolls, and tentative budget. The Governing Board may discuss and consider District business, including regulatory and non-regulatory matters. The Governing Board may take official action on any item appearing on the agenda for the public hearing and on any item that is added to the agenda for the public hearing as a result of a change to the agenda approved by the presiding officer of the public hearing pursuant to Section 120.525, Florida Statutes. A copy of the agenda may be obtained by contacting: Molly Brown at mobrown@sfwmd.gov. The agenda containing information on this public hearing will be posted to the District’s website, www.SFWMD.gov/meetings, seven days prior to the meeting.
