Elevate District 8 and Knock Doors for Sharonda Huffman

Sharonda Huffman is a longtime Essex resident, community advocate, Democrat, and public‑service professional with experience in government, housing, and disability rights. A wife, mother, and champion for accessibility and inclusion, she has spent her career helping residents navigate public systems and secure essential services. Let's show our support for her run for County Council and knock some doors with Sharonda! We will meet at Kestrel Cafe to launch each knock. First time volunteering? No worries. Each canvass shift starts with a training with an organizer who will be there to help you out. Are you a pro canvasser? GREAT! Join us in the parking lot to pick up some lit and a packet and we’ll get you out on the doors! What you’ll need: Before you knock on doors with us, you’ll need some things. 1. A smartphone so you can download the MiniVAN Touch app, the Democratic Party’s canvassing app. Download it on iPhone or android. 2. A full water bottle 3. Weather-appropriate clothes and good walking shoes!
