Join Magnified Voices as we show up to protect public education, empower our community, and advocate for Hillsborough County students and families. Local school board decisions shape what happens in our classrooms, from funding and curriculum to student services, school policies, and community engagement. When families and community members attend meetings, stay informed, and speak up, we help ensure those decisions remain transparent, accountable, and centered on students. Whether you are an experienced advocate or attending a school board meeting for the first time, your presence matters. Participants will have the opportunity to: Learn about the issues affecting Hillsborough County Public Schools Observe School Board discussions and decisions Connect with other public education advocates Support transparency and accountability Help elevate the needs of students, families, and educators You do not need to be an expert or speak during the meeting to make a difference. Showing up, listening, learning, and sharing information with your community are all powerful forms of advocacy. Together, we can protect public education, empower our communities, and build a stronger future for every student, one meeting at a time.
