Bridge North Texas Community Field Canvassing

Join us every Saturday in October as we head out into DeSoto to knock doors, connect directly with voters, and build long-term power in our community! Face-to-face conversations are the single most effective way to make sure our neighbors have a plan to vote. Whether you are a seasoned canvasser or knocking doors for the very first time, we will make sure you have everything you need to feel comfortable, confident, and supported. What to Expect: Training & Briefing: We start every shift with a quick 20-minute training on our messaging and canvassing apps (Empower / Solidarity Tech). Pairing Up: First-time canvassers will always be paired with an experienced buddy! Knocking Doors: We’ll launch in pairs to talk to target voters across DeSoto. Debrief: We’ll regroup at the end of the shift to celebrate wins, log our contacts, and turn in materials. What to Bring / How to Prepare 1. A fully charged smartphone with the Empower and Solidarity Tech apps downloaded. 2. Comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, and a reusable water bottle. 3. A friend! (Canvassing is always more fun together.) Meet up location details will be reshared to RSVP's closer to event dates.
