"Flip Flops on the Ground" Literature Drop

Democracy is NOT a spectator sport—and Arizona can finally change! Did you know the last time Democrats held the majority in the Arizona House was 1966? For nearly 60 years, single-party control has shaped our state, leading to issues that impact our families every single day: Packed Classrooms: Composite state rankings consistently place Arizona public education near the bottom (48th to 51st). While state averages mask the crisis, actual core classrooms (Math, English, Science) regularly pack 30–35+ students into a single room with low teacher retention and bottom-tier funding. Corporate Loophole: Arizona is now one of the least affordable states to live in, yet under state law (A.R.S. § 43-1111), over 80% of corporate filers pay only the $50 minimum state tax floor (JLBC data), leaving working families to carry the load. We have the power to change this. Tempe Rising Indivisible is organizing "Flip Flops on the Ground" Lit Drop shifts to get crucial campaign information into the hands of voters across key neighborhoods. 🎯 Our Target Districts Protect & Hold (Keep Blue): Legislative Districts 9 & 12 Flip the House & Commission (Turn Blue): Legislative District 13 & Congressional District 5 👟 How You Can Help Walkers: Come get your steps in!
