🤝civic engagement
Tonight, learn how you can help your immigrant neighbors to stay safe as abductions increase in Federal Way and surrounding areas. There is something **_everyone_** can do to help, no matter your availability, skill set, or background! You won't want to miss this! We may also have WA State Supreme Court candidate Judge Jaime Michelle Hawk stop by as well, depending on their campaign schedule. So come and meet your fellow Federal Way Indivisible members and start working together to make change! **5pm:** Help with set-up. **5:30pm:** Community building with snacks, games, and conversation. **6:15:** Action and education. **8pm:** Stay to help with clean-up. ### NOTE: We will not be providing a meal this month, just snacks and games. Feel free to bring food for yourself or something to share! Please consider bringing non-perishable food, diapers, formula, clothing, or hygiene products to donate to the Wayside UCC community pantry program as a thank you for providing a beautiful space for us to gather while we also help our neighbors in need. Lots of parking is available. Kids welcome! There will be no formal child care, but we'll have coloring and activity sheets and we love to hear kids being kids. Bring kid-friendly board games to play during game time! No sign-up needed unless you wish to receive emails from and share your data with the Mobilize platform.
